On Thursday evening, Villa Decius will host a gala to express gratitude to all its Patrons, Sponsors, Partners, Volunteers and Friends supporting the activities of the Association in 2011. It is through their benevolence and dedication that Villa Decius is flourishing and blossoming from year to year serving Krakow, Poland and Europe, through realising the Renaissance ideas of humanism and cultural dialogue.

The ceremony will be honoured with the presence of Madam Vice President, Magdalena Sroka, and representatives of the national and local governments, diplomatic corps, patron media, partnership institutions and sponsors.

During the gala, the titles of Villa Decius Patron, Villa Decius General Sponsor, as well as Golden and Silver Sponsors will be awarded. What is more, diplomas with thanks “for extremely successful and pleasant co-operation in the year 2011” will be awarded to the representatives of more than 140 institutions, which collaborated with the Association in the past year.

This years’ celebration will also be honoured with the ceremonial concert of an extremely talented and very young violinist – Wiktoria Białostocka – a student of a primary school and M. Karłowicz Music School in Krakow accompanied by Ludmiła Wojnarowska-Tesarowicz (piano).

After the concert, all guests are invited to the Villa’s restaurant for exquisite dinner.
